* Euthanasia of a racehorse can only be approved by the Associated Club’s Veterinary Surgeon. Euthanasia of a horse will only be allowed in the event of the horse being so injured that in the opinion of the Associated Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, euthanasia is advisable in order to save unnecessary suffering.
