Stable Supervisors
A Trainer can employ a Stable Supervisor for
every ten (10) horses under his charge up to a maximum of four Stable
Supervisors.
Generally, a Stable
Supervisor is a promotional grade for syces, track riders and stable hands. The
criteria for licensing of supervisors are as follows:

Must have served at least three years with an MRA-licensed Trainer or a stable of a recognised racing authority.

Pass a practical and theoretical examination set by the Stipendiary Stewards.

Obtain a recommendation by the Stipendiary Stewards.

Produce reference from previous employers.

Pass a medical examination by an MRA-approved doctor.

An applicant must not have record of any criminal or bookmaking offences.
